Goal for 2020:
600 pastors with their own copy of the Word of God
“Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ”. Romans 10:17
After decades of war and deprivation, hundreds of village pastors do not own a copy of the Bible. The Bible is their most basic tool to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who have not heard, and in order to grow the faith of those who believe. These pastors must find someone with a Bible in order copy by hand passages that they can teach to others. Bibles for Village Pastors aims to fill the gap by providing Bibles for pastors who don’t have one.
Glory Honor Africa is committed to seeing every pastor in every Congolese church have a copy of the Bible in their own language. In 2019, generous donors made it possible to provide 600 Congolese pastors with a Bible. In 2020, our goal is to increase that number by 50%, to 900 Bibles for Village Pastors in 2020.
$25 provides a language-appropriate copy of the Bible for a village pastor and their church.
