We understand how important it is not only to tell churches what they should be doing but also to influence their actions by setting the example. As the Apostle Paul reminds us: “You should imitate me as I imitate Christ” 1 Corinthians 11:1. Glory Honor Africa comes alongside church ministries that are sharing the love of Christ in word and deed among the most vulnerable people in their communities. Our goal is always to add value in a way that encourages local initiative.
Glory Honor Africa has adopted two projects for involvement and support:
Vocational training for teenage moms
Thousands of teenage mothers in DR Congo have been abandoned to raise their children in the streets. When girls become pregnant, families find it hard to feed another person, so both mother and child are often forced to fend for themselves in order to survive.
Bibles for village pastors
After decades of war and deprivation, hundreds of village pastors do not own a copy of the Bible. The Bible is their most basic tool to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who have not heard, and in order to grow the faith of those who believe.
